Hello Cate,
A lot of the largest woodland you see behind the Strines inn is owned by Delta Force Paintballing. Also a fun day day out, by experience. So for safety reasons is out of bounds. There’s a lovely reservoir called Broomhead reservoir not far away worth visiting too. From Mortimer road take Moor lane towards Wigtwizzle get to Broomhead reservoir. It’s a great reservoir surrounded by woodland.

I’m going to visit there later today but can’t find any information on whether the woodland behind the Strines Inn is accessible to the public. Can one walk through the woods, or is it all private and out of bounds? Would love to know!
