When I started my Ketogenic lifestyle journey a few years ago, I started with basics. Those basics lead me to the basic Keto butter coffee breakfast that has been the mainstay meal every day.

If you are thinking how drinking tablespoons of butter and oil with my coffee every morning helps me lose and maintain weight, then please read the above link.

This drink really sets me up for the day. It is also known as bulletproof coffee. The fats involved are real fats so they go straight through the system yet satiate me for many hours, so that some days I do not get hungry until late afternoon.

When in ketosis, as I said in the article, I lose all cravings so satiety is key and the fats here do the trick, it does not add fat to my body and makes me alert for a great day ahead too.

In fact, I have found that after my keto coffee is when I am able to write a full 1000 plus word article much easier. Then if I head for a hike or the gym the ketosis together with no sense of hunger is a wonderful bonus.

If you believe in the 80s myth of fats make you fat, or if fats make you sickly you may want to discontinue reading.

Yes I get my cholesterol checked every 6 months and mine is perfectly normal. I have been drinking this for over 4 years.

The calories may seem high at approximately 350 but when all I need for the rest of the day before dinner is a couple of eggs then the daily count goes real low.

But if you are interested in Keto and a simple, quick breakfast idea that fills you and lasts for hours in the day, here is my simple way of doing it.
